American Psycho

Finally I have read American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis. And absolutely loved it. Patrick Bateman is so cool and kinda hot. Well really hot. I can get past the whole psycho thing.
The book was very different from the movie (loved the movie too-christian Bale, so hot!). So much more story and scenes of course, but Patrick was also different. He seemed softer than what the movie portrayed him. You can actually feel sorry for him. I did in the chapter 'Tries to cook and eat girl'. He was all crying because he didn't know if he was cooking the girl right because he had never cooked before. Poor Patrick. And how much of the stuff that he does is just in his head? At least he found someone to love him-"Jean my secretary, whose in love with me"- even though he can never return it, because he's incapable.

Better go. I have to return some video tapes.
